The American Heart Association now provides alternative ways for you to receive initial or renewal certification for Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and First Aid with CPR/AED for all ages. Through the new American Heart Association eLearning online courses, you can now access courses at your own convenience to develop the important skills you need for maintaining licenses/employment for healthcare employees, daycare licensing, newly certifying teachers, early childhood education, and anyone who needs a credential for work.

Upon completion of the online portion of the courses listed above, you will be able to print a certificate of completion. Print the certificate and bring it to the skill testing portion (part 2) of the course. Call the office at 586-726-2587 to schedule part 2. Upon completion of part 1 and part 2, an American Heart Association certification card valid for 2 years will be issued for the appropriate course.
You have 60 days from completion of part 1 to complete the skill test (part 2.)
